This humble tropical island home was in need of serious help when we found it. After replacing the roof, electrical and plumbing, we were able to focus on adding a cozy, creative charm. Most of the wood we used was sourced from re-use centers and the floors are solid sustainable bamboo. Because this windward mountain location gets rain almost every day, it is the perfect spot for a home garden, so we incorporated many edible plants into the landscape design by

using permaculture techniques.
